Kent Chicilo serves as Senior Vice President, Legal of FLINT Corp. He joined the team in July 2024 and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of legal services (including securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution/litigation), and enterprise risk management. He also serves as corporate secretary for FLINT’s board of directors and works closely with them on matters of corporate governance.
Mr. Chicilo’s legal career began in private practice, specializing in corporate and commercial law at Kanuka Thuringer LLP (in Regina) and later at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (in Calgary). He then transitioned to in-house legal roles of increasing responsibility at ENMAX Corporation (Manager, Legal) and Inter Pipeline Ltd. (Associate General Counsel). Prior to joining FLINT, Kent was the Executive Vice President, Shared Services, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd., and had oversight of matters related to legal, regulatory, land, human resources, EHS, and divestitures and acquisitions.
Mr. Chicilo holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.
